Dr Matthew Carver studied Chiropractic at Western States Chiropractic College in Portland, Oregon, USA . He received his Doctor of Chiropractic in 1999. Prior to that, he studied for four years at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada, obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Cell and Developmental Biology.
Having worked in the UK since 2000, Dr Carver treats a variety of patients from serious athletes to infants to the elderly. He has treated athletes at the World Power Lifting Championships and Nike World Games in Portland, Oregon and also acts as a consultant for a leading UK charity that helps to integrate people with chronic pain or disability back into the work place. He uses a variety of techniques to suit individual patient needs. He is registered with the General Chiropractic Council and is a member of the Scottish Chiropractic Association.
Dr Carver is also fully qualified in animal chiropractic. He studied with the International Academy of Veterinary Chiropractic in Loughborough, England, an affiliate of Options For Animals in Kansas City, USA . He is a member of the International Veterinary Chiropractic Association.
